Pikachu is not only the most famous Pokemon, but the most energetic fighter in the game.  Pikachu is so full of enegy that he needs to fight with shocking attacks to let it out.  Although a little crazy to handle, Pikachu is perfect for beginners!

The Ice Climbers are the hardest to control due to the fact that there is two of them.  Although you only control one of them, the other seems to get in the way.

These guys are perfect for advanced players.

While Luigi isn't a whole lot different than Mario, there are some obvious unique qualities about Luigi.  He seems to be faster, a higher jumper and maybe a little stronger, but Luigi is just as all around as Mario.

Jigglypuff, the first of the unlockable Pokemon in the game, is somewhat like Kirby in terms of flying.  She puffs up and floats to the top as well.  But the difference between her and Kirby?  She can do a massive smash attack!

Marth might be the fighter in the game, but the real work is done by his sword.  If it wasn't for his sword, he would be nothing.  He may not be the greatest character, but he's worth unlocking!

B Down: Counter

 

 

 

Mewtwo might be super strong in the Pokemon series, but he is just like the others in this game.  That doesn't mean that he's worthless though.  He can fight just as hard as any of the others!

B Down: Disable

 

 

 

Mr. Game and Watch is the last character you can unlock, and he's worth waiting for!  He has many special moves, and they are all extremely useful!

Falco is the sidekick of Fox in the Starfox series, but in this game, they no longer work together.  Falco is in it to fight.  Plain and simple!

Dr. Mario is basically the same as Mario, other than the fact that he is a doctor!  Still, he's fun to unlock!

Pichu is simply the clone of Pikachu, but with a unique difference.  He's half the size!  That doesn't make him a little pest though because he wants a piece of the action, too!

Ganondorf is another clone, this time a clone of Captain Falcon.  Ganondorf is not just a copy cat though, he is much stronger.  He is a good choice if you like powerful characters.

Roy is super strong and quite fast, but he's best if your an experienced player.  That doesn't mean don't give him a try!  He's really fun to use!

Young Link is definately an obvious clone of Link.  He does basically everything Link does.  SEROIUSLY!  But it's always fun to unlock a new character!
